C E Monitoring Services

New York State requires all insurance agents and brokers meet  a requirement of at least 15 continuing education credit hours in order to renew their insurance licenses. Each agent can choose to meet this requirement by attending classroom sessions, taking online courses, or a combination of both.

For those who choose to take online courses, they must pass an online test which must be proctored by a New York State licensed Continuing Education Monitor.

All testing is done in the office located at 700 Linden Blvd., at the corner of East 48th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11203. Unless someone else is also taking an exam, there are no other appointments during your exam.
 

The fees for this service are $50.00 for each exam. All fees are payable in cash, bank check, or by money order, prior to the start of the exam, whether you pass or fail the exam (s).
 

Some study tips;
 

Know how you study best. Some folk are more comfortable when they print out the study  materials, while others do everything online. Use whichever method works best for you.
 

If your online service provides them, take as many practice exams as you can. It's a proven method of improving your score.

Get a good night's sleep. There's nothing worse than a test taker who hoisted a few with their friends the night before the exam.  
Don't wait until the night before the exam to read the material.
Arrive at the office 15 minutes early. This gives you the opportunity to catch your breath, relax, and become comfortable with your surroundings.
